Our Teens Aligner is available starting at CHF 6,490 for both jaws. Depending on the complexity of the malocclusion, additional treatment aids may be necessary:
Attachments – CHF 400 per jaw
Attachments are small composite elements that are placed on the teeth to support their movement into the correct position.
Bite ramps – CHF 800
Bite ramps are small protrusions on the Aligner that help create contact with the front teeth, thereby relieving pressure on the posterior teeth.
Buttons and elastics – CHF 800
Small buttons that are connected with elastics in order to exert more pressure. Buttons and elastics are necessary if the position of the patient's bite needs to be corrected. (Reattaching a button – CHF 100)
Extractions – CHF 300
Malocclusions involving crowding may require the removal of a tooth in order to create space for the planned movements of the other teeth.
The following products help to maintain or further improve one's smile following treatment:
Retainer Aligner – free
Once treatment has been successfully completed, the bite can be maintained using a retainer aligner (free of charge at bestsmile).
Wire retainer – CHF 500 per jaw
Wire retainers can also be used to maintain the position of the teeth. They are attached to the back of the teeth, making them invisible.
Night Guard – CHF 500
We recommend using a Night Guard to alleviate nocturnal grinding and pressing. This grinding guard protects the teeth at night and relaxes the jaw muscles.
Laser treatments – starting at CHF 200
Small defects like uneven gum tissue can be corrected quickly and for the long term via a laser gum lift. Some smile corrections, for instance those involving gaps, may also require a frenulum correction in order to be successful. We use ultra-modern precision lasers for both procedures.
Fixing damaged teeth – CHF 300
Smaller defects such as those caused by cavities can be corrected easily on the spot.
Finishing – CHF 300
By finishing we mean the correction of any small remaining defects via shaping (smoothing unattractive edges) and contouring (rebuilding spots that have broken off).
